Hi, Skylar. I was at your house today when Cameron presented all the wonderful gifts to you and your family. You are such an inspiration, and I know in my heart you will bring hope to others with your story and your faith. God has a wonderful plan for you, and He is always with you.

By the way, I love your new bedroom. Pink is my favorite color too.

You and your family will be in my prayers.

Hello Skylar, This is Me-Me from the labatory at Community Hospital. After, reading your story touched me that a little girl is going through so much. I am 28 yrs old. and I was diagnosed of an Aterio Venous Malformation in 2004. I go through a lot of pain trying to live a normal life. I am blessed eventhough I'm a single mother, but my son has to suffer from having to help me out the bed. The 1st surgery was in
2-24-06,(day after my birthday) 2nd 3-28-06, didn't help. They're looking for a different direction to treat this thing. I realize that we all go through just to get through, but at the end we will recoginze how blessed we truly are. Although it is a difference in age. I have a shoulder to cry on because I understand what it feels like to be alone. Guess what, theres one much higher, who will listen to you anytime. I find myself seeking higher help more than ever and I get the same answer every time, my child I am right here beside you ever step of the way.

Take care and stay blessed

You will always hold a special place in my hard.

You are one sweet, brave and tough little girl. You hang in there! You beat the Big C once before and you can do it again..I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. God is good and if he brings you to it, he'll get you thru it! Keep your faith and always say your prayers..Take care!

I met your dad at his work last week and he told me your inspirational story. So, I checked out your AMAZING website that he told me about and just wanted to say that I hope you're doing well. Also, I was looking at your merchandise and wanted to know if I buy something from your store will some of the money go toward cancer research? (steph045@gmail.com)

Take care. I'll be thinking about you.

Hi Skylar. My name is Jackelyn and I also just heard your story on Oprah's Big Give. The strange thing is...it was like listening to my life story! I am now 26 years old, but when I was 11, I also had Ewings Sarcoma in my right scapula! I had my shoulder blade removed and went through two and a half years of chemotherapy. I was in remission for eight years and then at 22 was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in my left femur. Again I had surgery and went through chemotherapy. With strong faith, hope, and love I survived cancer for the second time and have been cancer free for four years! There are so many similarities of our stories that I could not believe...I fell off a balance beam on the playground and that’s how they found the tumor in my shoulder! I remember those nights of crying in pain too. You are such an amazing girl and I know that you will get though this. I am proof that you can win. And thank you for giving me inspiration to keep fighting my own battles. I would love to hear from you if you get a chance to write. You are a beautiful and you are a survivor! Email: jackelynacohen@yahoo.com
Wishing you hope and love, Jackelyn

I really do believe that you will beat it again. You have touched many peoples lives and not only because of the show. It was not hard to see how much your parents love you. I am a paramedic and I see people that are sick all the time and if half of them had the attitude that you have it would change their lives. My family and I will remember you and your family in our prayers. I will keep checking your website for updates and if you like you can email us if you get a chance. May God bless you and take care! Hi Skylar,
My name is Taylor and my friend Kendall and I just finished watching you on Oprah's Big Give. We just wanted to let you know to keep up the good work. We are so inspired with what joy and charisma you maintain throughout your illness. If only everyone remained as hopeful as you, then their lives would be completely different. I was wondering what you think of your doctors because I am a pre med major right now at school and I am looking at focusing on oncology. Please email me back at your convenience. You and your families will be kept in my prayers and I wish you the best recovery. Stay hopeful, remain positive, and the sky is the limit.

Hey Skylar,
I watched your story on the Big Give, and was so happy to see a little girl with such heart. You have had such a hard life, and still smile. There are grown adults who cannot do the same thing as you.
My name is Andie and I understand the pain you have gone through. My grandmother who was a main figure in my life fell victim to breast cancer when I was nine years old. She passed when I was twelve. Things were so difficult but all the time she smiled and told me it would be okay. I see you have the same courage she did. I want you to smile every day and know you're on my mind. I'm seventeen now and still remember her great fight. Don't give up, and keep your heart open. Best wishes,
Love Andie

Hey Skyler,
Just finally got caught up on The Big Give tonight. I haven't been able to watch it lately because of school and work, so I watched it online. Just wanted to check out your site. Hope everything is going well. You are such a strong little girl. I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through. It's people like you that give me even more reason to continue on with my dream of becoming a nurse. I love helping people in any way that I can. I would donate, but with being in college, I'm kind of tight on the money. : ( When I'm making the big bucks someday as a nurse, I will think of you and think of this wonderful website that started from the Big Give.
P.S. I love your bedroom! (Much nicer than the dinky dorm room I have! haha)

Hi Sweetheart

I'ts 26 December 2008 and I'm spending my first Xmas without my children ages 14 & 16 (they're with their dad). My life for the last 4 years has been traumatic, I've lost everything and suffering with my health due to what has happened. THEN, my darling child, I watched Oprah .... and the Big Give ... and saw you, and your parents. It puts what's going on in my life right down to not important. Regardless of the pain I am going through. I cried for you and your parents, I've even paused the programme to write this :) I've said so much, but said nothing sweetheart, such a brave girl, such a brave brave girl, you put me to shame. I think, every Christmas from now on, you and your precious family will be in my heart. Take care darling, be strong. Love Helen xxx
